BLFM Resident Elected to National Delegation

Family Medicine PGY 2 Fernando E. Hernandez, MD, was awarded a scholarship to attend the 2015 National Family Medicine Conference held in Kansas City, MO this past August by the New York State Academy of Family Physicians. The National Family Medicine Conference was a three-day event designed for residents and medical students to participate in special lectures, workshops, procedures courses, and clinics led by national Family Medicine leaders and educators. More than 300 Family Medicine residency programs were represented in the Exposition Hall, while the National Congress of Family Medicine Residents and the National Congress of Student Members also held their annual meetings during the conference. As the 2015 National Delegate, Dr. Hernandez had the honor to represent the Family Medicine Residents from the state of New York at this year's Congress.
