Behavioral Health Team

The mission of the behavioral team is to provide excellent comprehensive behavioral health services to our patients as well as educate our residents, faculty and staff. We strive to promote and develop the overall well-being of our diverse patient base and multidisciplinary staff.

With a compassionate and skillful presence we improve the welfare of our patients by
providing mental health assessments and counseling. In addition, we help connect patients
to the resources they need. As educators, we are an integral part of the faculty focusing on the development of the communication and interpersonal skills of each resident, as well as nurturing their understanding of the biopsychosocial and patient-centered perspectives of healthcare. We aim to promote the welfare of the multidisciplinary staff utilizing support groups, facilitating team meetings, teaching residents during concepts period and stimulating cohesive and dependable team relationships.
